Cochin
Cochin chickens are amazing mothers and are gentle, docile, and friendly, making them a perfect family breed. Their beautiful fluff feathering gives them stunning looks and makes them very cold hardy. They will lay around 150 -180 medium brown eggs per year. Cochin chickens love to be broody and will hatch any eggs. Cochin chickens will even be foster mamas and take in chicks, ducks, and guineas.
